About Us

Rökstólar Samvinnumiðstöð has been successfully on the European educational market (in adult education and community development projects) since 2010. Our social enterprise was founded in Iceland by woman’s entrepreneur Lenka who is a mother of  3 children (born 2012, 2014, 2016) and shares her motherhood also towards her partner’s son from previous relationship.

We believe that cooperation, sharing of good practices, balance as well as respect for nature are very important aspects in our everyday lives, not only at work.

As the result of this, we initiate and also get involved in projects that support and develop the above. Through our work, we not only help individuals, organisations or public institutions develop, but we also contribute to social development.

On top of that, we are dedicated to constant improvement and enhancement of our services, as we believe that life-long learning is an integral part of us as individuals. 

In our work,we focus on 3 areas education, consulting and sustainable tourism, which align with our expertise and years of  experience, gained mainly through international projects.

We offer highly professional service that leads profound innovation and change in current transformational times and helps leading from the future as it emerges. 

Our work is well recognized by our partners (National Agencies responsible for ERASMUS plus programme across Europe, including Iceland), as well as cooperative stakeholders: VMST (Akureyri), SIMEY, MTR, VIRK and carries high product value.
